Visas

American citizens are required to have a VISA when traveling to Brazil.

You must fill out the Visa application online and go to the Brazilian Consulate with the printed application, a photo, and all required documentation to complete your application.

After submitting your application to the Consulate it takes about 10 business days to process your Visa. Your Visa will be valid for the next 10 years.
